Academic/Research Interests

My PhD and my recent research on the conflict between the memory of the Holocaust and the Gulag focuses on the use of history for creating a particular identity, often used for one’s own political means and the conflicts arising from this. I am interested in undertaking further research on this subject and developing it in a wider context.
